Pear with a swivel is really universal type of lead. If you want to go feeder fishing and you have an area with food but longer casts would frighten away fish, you can use the pear with a swivel. When you choose heavier leads you can use them when light bottom fishing when you attach it to the clip hinge. When you fish for predators with a float fishing technique or by heavy tackle fishing method you can also use this type. It can also be used as classical form of lead for drop shot when you attach it to the fishing line by a knot or the loop to the loop way. There are so many possibilities of usage so it is a must in your fishing equipment.
