If you’re looking for a technologically advanced. precisely designed. and perfectly crafted feeder rod. look no further. you have found Opium Inova. The rod was designed for the needs of a modern angler who wants absolute control during fishing. maximum performance. and reliability. All the components were selected with great care and precision. and the rod itself underwent a long-term testing and fine-tuning.
An elegant. super slim 30T carbon blank allows precise and distant casting with minimal effort. Plus. because of the production technology of the blank and the materials used. the rod is very lightweight. It’s sturdy enough to handle fights with trophy fish. and it’s durable even when you use it often. The blank is fitted with a quality SeaGuide SIC guides. The use of these guides minimises the line friction. and it prolongs the distance and precision of your casts. Plus. the guides are lightweight and they properly balance the rod.
It also has an ergonomically shaped Fuji reel seat from a durable and light material that provides a secure spot for any feeder reel.
Opium INOVA in not just a first-class fishing rod. it is also a work of art. We focused on aesthetics and elegance. The rod comes in various shades of black combined with elegant golden elements. making the design absolutely unique and exclusive.
The TechnoCORK handle material is a speciality among Opium rods. Apart from looking good. it has many performance features. It’s a special rubber surface. soft to the touch with excellent anti-slip properties. In comparison with a classic cork. it’s more durable and easier to clean. This makes the handle both comfortable and practical. The design of the TechnoCORK material is similar to black cork and when you look closer. you’ll surely notice small Delphin logos with letters TC. the acronym for TechnoCORK.
The tips underwent some changes too. Proper positioning of the guides and their size make the rod very lightweight and balanced. The rod is compatible with CARBON and CarboLIX tip sets. Both sets are made from carbon and they both have the same tip range (1xUL. 1xL. and 1xM). What’s the difference then?
You’ll get one set of CarboLIX tips with your rod and there are 3 tips. one is Ultralight. one Light. and one Medium. These are soft tips with low weight and high sensitivity that indicate subtle bites from the smallest fish. If you prefer firm tips. the CARBON set is more suitable for you. These are also UL. L. and M according to the general terminology. However. in comparison with the CarboLIX set. they are stronger and more suitable for fishing bigger carp fish. These are identical carbon tips you were able to purchase with older Opium versions.
All the Opium tips can be purchased in sets or individually.
